What products does MMD offer?
Curious about what we have in store? At MMD, our shelves are stocked with a wide array of surveying, construction and industrial supplies. From sturdy wood products, to the brightest flagging and top-notch marking paint, we’ve got everything you need for surveying, excavating, and more.
How do I place an order?
Place your order online, email orders@mmdsales.com, call or text us at 847-426-3561. We’re here to help with any questions you may have, or orders you wish to place.
Can I order products online?
Absolutely! Our online store is user-friendly and secure, perfect for browsing and ordering our products. And if you need any help or have specific requirements, we’re just a call or email away.
Do you offer nationwide shipping?
Need your supplies shipped? No problem! We deliver all across the USA. Wherever you are, we’ll make sure your order reaches you promptly and safely.
How long does shipping take?
We offer speedy 3-5 day delivery on average. Often, orders arrive sooner, especially if you’re in Chicagoland. However, delivery may take a couple of extra days if you’re farther north, south, or on the coasts and require special services. Once your order leaves our warehouse you will receive tracking information. You can also email us at any time for the status of your order at tracking@mmdsales.com. Want to skip the wait? What shipping methods do you use?
We deliver small, pallet and truckload size orders, working with a variety of carriers who expertly handle our shipments. Our carriers include USPS, UPS, MMD Fleet and 3rd Party Carriers. Once your order leaves our warehouse you will receive tracking information. You can also email us at any time for the status of your order at tracking@mmdsales.com. For Illinois, portions of Wisconsin, and Indiana, we have our own driver, Jamaine Butler and he has all the tools for a successful delivery. You can place your order online to receive an automated shipping quote (with no obligation to purchase) or contact us for a personalized quote.
Can I pick up my order in person?
We’d love to meet you! Customers are welcome to pick up their orders at our office and warehouse at 732 Hicks Drive, Elburn, IL 60119. Feel free to order online and select Local Pickup at checkout or arrive during business hours: Monday – Friday 7am – 4pm.
Will I receive tracking information?
Yes, once your order leaves our warehouse you will receive tracking information. You can also email us at any time for the status of your order: tracking@mmdsales.com.
Our company has multiple locations Nationwide. Can you handle managing the addresses and contact for all our locations?
Yes, here at MMD we utilize ordering software which allows us to store more than 50 separate addresses and assign them by your custom codes or your indicators.
What if I want to place a multi pallet order and I don’t have a forklift?
Not a problem, our logistics coordinated with work with our driver or 3rd party carrier to make sure the delivery vehicle is equipped to offload your order.
Do you deliver to residential addresses?
Yes, we get all the details from you for a successful delivery. We may ask questions like the length and pitch of your driveway to make sure we’ve covered all the bases. If you have an outdoor pet please let us know, we want to make sure your fur babies are safe during unloading or if they are grump like our mascot Chompers we kindly ask you to put your fur baby in the house.
Do you deliver to storage units?
We offer delivery to storage units in the following states: Illinois and Wisconsin.
Do you deliver to construction sites and/or solar fields?
Yes, we offer this specialized delivery as long as you have an onsite contact at the time of delivery.
Can I make a delivery appointment for my large order?
Yes, we work with all of our customers to deliver their orders when it’s convenient for them.
What happens if I place an online order and some of the products are on back order? Is the shipping included?
You will be alerted immediately if you have a product on back order. MMD makes every effort to quickly fulfill all back orders, you will not be charged any additional shipping for an out of stock product.
I don’t have a dock at my location. Can you still deliver my order?
Yes, if it is a simple USPS or UPS order the delivery will be made to your front door. If you place a large order (1 pallet or more) we can offer additional services like a lift gate, driver unload and inside delivery.

Do you offer product samples?
We’ve got you covered. Contact us anytime to request a free sample from our collection of wood products, including silt fence, survey lath, and stakes. We’re confident you’ll be impressed by our quality.
Do you offer custom sizes?
Yes, custom sizes and species of wood are available. Please contact us with your request and we’ll happily work with you on this.
Can the silt fence be printed on?
Yes, it can! Our Custom Printed Silt Fence option allows you to print your company name or anything else in white, on a black background.

Are any of the products you sell recyclable?
Absolutely! At MMD, we’re not just committed to selling top-notch Seymour of Sycamore marking paint, through our sister company, Flat Can Recycling, we also recycle empty cans of marking paint. This initiative is our way of responsibly closing the loop in the marking paint product cycle. By recycling these cans, we keep them out of landfills, significantly help to prevent metal leaching into soil, and contribute to keeping groundwater cleaner in our community and beyond.
