-March 2009 news about Tony! - Our company logo is based on our original mascot Luna. She was a playful little gal and tough as nails, much like our company. Our newest mascot is Sweet Pea, she works M-F 7am - 3pm, feel free to stop by and visit her. -In the 80's Municipal Marking use to paint and brand our stakes by hand. We even made custom "Chicago Bears" themed stake for a die-hard fan. -Originally Municipal Marking Distributors, Inc. was a mail order company selling solely to municipalities. The company was started in the basement of Tony & Laura Kresic's home in Carpentersville, Illinois. -We have been holding our famous customer appreciation dinners (an invite only dinner) in Illinois and Wisconsin since 1993. Now that's a lot of beer!!!! -In 2007 MMD delivered enough lath that when placed end-to-end it would reach the Leaning Tower YMCA in Niles IL from our office in Gilberts, IL. If we included stakes maybe we could’ve made it to Navy Pier!

purchased enough flagging to wrap -Tony is saving the world by recycling more plastic bags at his local grocery store than anyone in the neighborhood!
